There are two different ways to check the JAMB mock result, which are by using SMS or by visiting the JAMB official website. These methods are not difficult to use; hence, anyone can use them.
However, it is important to note that the JAMB mock result doesn’t determine your main UTME score. This means that even if you did well in your mock exam, it doesn’t guarantee you express success in the main exam; it will only help you prepare better. In the same vein, it is also pertinent to note that the JAMB mock exam is not compulsory; hence, the exam is for only interested candidates. Meanwhile, your JAMB mock score won’t be added to your main result.

How to Check JAMB Mock Result Online
To use this method, follow the steps below:
- Go to efacility.jamb.gov.ng/CheckUTMEMockResults
- Once it open, input your JAMB registration number in the available space
- After accessing your JAMB dashboard, locate the ‘Check Mock Result’ section within it and click on it.
- At this point, your JAMB mock result will display on your screen if you got it right. That’s all.
How to Check JAMB Mock Result through SMS
The second and last method on our list that you can use to check your JAMB mock result is by using a short message service, SMS. If you want to use this method, do this:
- Go to the messaging app on your phone and open it
- Compose message in this format MOCKRESULT
- After composing the message, you will send it to 55019 or 66019.
- Once you send the message, you will get a reply message from JAMB containing your mock result, indicating what you scored in each subject that you wrote.
Will JAMB add my mock result to my Mina result?
Now that you have seen your JAMB result, the next question will be, will it determine your overall JAMB score? Well, the short answer is no. Your JAMB mock result has nothing to do with your overall JAMB score. The primary aim of the mock is for you to get experience on how the main UTME looks. In fact, when I wrote my own UTME recently, I didn’t write the mock exam but I scored over 250 in my UTME. So, whether you wrote the UTME mock or not, you will still get a good result if you study hard.

Will JAMB repeat the mock questions on the main UTME?
The answer to this question is not one-size-fits-all. This is because there is no evidence that JAMB repeats their mock questions on the main exam. However, candidates who sat for the mock exam may see similar questions on their main UTME, but that doesn’t mean that they repeated it since such questions may only be few even if such a scenario plays out.
Is the JAMB Mock Exam Compulsory?
No, the JAMB mock exam is not compulsory. It is optional for those that want to write. This mock exam can only help you prepare better for the main exam but it will not be added to your original JAMB result. So, whether you write or not and you do well in your main UTME, your total score will be given to you.
